JLAC Winter Information 2018
All athletes wishing to compete in the 2018 program must nominate through Results HQ.
If you still have your timing chip from last winter season this can be used again but must be registered to the same athlete, the athlete is still required to nominate. Winter timing chips are different from summer. Please register for a new timing chip if you require a winter timing chip.
How to register:
EXISTING MEMBERS 2017/2018 SEASON
- Summer Athletes must still nominate for the Winter 2018 Program
- Log on to Resultshq with username and password
- Go to New Notifications (in RED) select either : LAWA Winter /Register ($5 cost for Timing Chip payment online with Credit Card/Paypal) OR LAWA Winter BYO Tag /Register ..no cost (you can reuse last year’s Timing chip)
NEW MEMBERS 2018 WINTER ONLY and RETURNING 2017 WINTER ONLY MEMBERS
Go to https://registration.resultshq.com.au/CentreRegistration/CentreInfo/46104e50-447d-4933-bf9b-e2d5c0af5400/ to register for Joondalup winter season.
Winter fees are $120
PAYMENT will be online during time of registration via credit card/paypal
Cash option is ONLY for kidsports voucher application
Once you have registered and paid you can nominate to compete as per the instructions for existing members. Please note that new members will receive Timing Chip as part of your registration pack.

Joondalup Little Athletics train for cross country on Mondays and Thursdays from 4.30pm - 5.30pm.
U7 - U9 age groups train together and U10+ groups train together.
Monday 21st May: 4.30pm - 5.30pm meet at Yellagonga Regional Park (Intersection of Lakeside Drive and Joondalup Drive, Opposite Aldgate Street)
Thursday 24th May: 4.30pm - 5.30pm meet at Picnic Cove, Edgewater Drive, Edgewater
Monday 28th May: 4.30pm - 5.30pm meet at Picnic Cove, Edgewater Drive, Edgewater
Thursday 31st May: 4.30pm - 5.30pm meet at Yellagonga Regional Park (Intersection of Lakeside Drive and Joondalup Drive, Opposite Aldgate Street)
Race Distances: U7 - U8 : 1000 metres
U9 - U10 : 1500 metres
U11 - U12 : 2000 metres
U13 - U17 : 3000 metres
In order to qualify for the end of season cross country championships ( on the 11th August, 2018), the athlete must compete in a minimum of 4 from the 6 possible cross country events.
For road walking, it is a minimum of 3 from the possible 4 walk events in order to attend the championships event on 4 August 2018.
