Summer Season (Track & Field)
Our Summer Track and Field Season runs from October through to March (with a short break for Christmas). Athletes participate in a full suite of athletics events such as running (sprinting, hurdles, endurance running),walking, jumping (long jump, high jump, triple jump) and throwing (discus, shot put, javelin).
Joondalup Little Athletics is run on a Saturday morning at HBF Arena (Western Oval), in front of Joondalup Sports Club (Kennedya Drive, Joondalup). We start at 7.30/8am, with athletes competing with other children from their age group in up to 6 events each week. The event program changes each week on a three week rotation.
Little Athletes have one goal during the season, and that's to achieve their own personal bests.
